Sweatlas — Your Hybrid Training Map

Gradient

A hard, capped grind that teaches you to sit just below the redline and keep moving — the skill that wins races.

Grade: Threshold · For Time · 24:00 cap

The workout

  • Ladder: Run 800-600-400-200 m · each leg faster than the last
  • Between: 15 Wall Balls @ 9/6 kg after each run
  • Target: Goal 17–21 min · a rising gradient — save the top gear for the 200

Why we programme this

Threshold work raises the pace you can hold before lactate buries you, and just as importantly it trains the composure to stay there. The time cap is deliberate: it forces a commitment to pace and turns the piece into a rehearsal for race-day discomfort. This is the closest a training day gets to competition — a continuous effort against the clock with a compressor built in.
